How does the Point Standings work?

Clickitgolf.com has designed a system for every level of golfer to have the opportunity to win prizes and gifts. We award points to every player that plays in one of our "Clickit18" events.

These Clickit18 events are broken up into 2 Seasons. A Summer Season which runs from the beginning of March until the end of September and a Winter Season, which runs from the beginning of October until the end of February. At the end of each season, prizes are awarded based on your point standings. See Below for prize breakdown.

Below are the season and prize breakdowns for each market. Each market must play at least 10 events for the following prizes. Markets with fewer events will be pro-rated.

Clickitgolf.com Championship Cup

The Clickitgolf.com Cup is a 54 hole Ryder Cup Style Match Play event, created for the top point earners of the Summer Season. Eligibility for this event is determined by the summer season Clickit18 point standings through 9/30/2012. The top 14 golfers in the summer season points race will earn a spot to play in the Cup. This year's event will be hosted by Talamore Golf Resort in Southern Pines, NC and include 3 rounds of golf and 2 nights stay.

CLICKITGOLF.COM CHAMPIONSHIP CUP FORMAT

• Two (2) teams of eight (8) players each
• Dates: October 22 & 23
• 54 Hole Match Play
  • Day 1: Talamore Resort - Morning Matches - 8:00am Start - 2 Man Scramble (30% of combined handicap)
  • Day 1: Talamore Resort - Afternoon Matches - 1:30pm Start - 2 Man Alternate Shot (40% of combined handicap)
  • Day 2: Mid South Club - Single Matches - 10:30am Start (70% of handicap)

How do you earn Points?

You earn points by playing. The more you play the more points you can earn. Points are awarded based on standings through your net score of each separate Clickit18 event.

What is a Net Score?

Your "NET" score is your gross score minus your handicap. We award 80% of the handicap to figure your "NET" score. For example, you are a 10 handicap and you score an 85 in a Clickit18 event. By receiving 80% of your handicap, in this case 8 strokes, your "Net" score would be a 77.

How do you determine Handicap?

All Clickit18 participants will provide current handicap at registration. A verified handicap is recommended from an online handicap source, golf course or any other business that keeps handicaps. After playing in your first Clickit18 event, your score will be entered into the Clickitgolf.com Handicap Tracker and that handicap will be used for all future Clickit18 events. All Clickit18 event scores will be posted in the handicap tracker; however, we encourage you to post all of your scores at Clickitgolf.com for future reference.

How Many Points Does Everyone Earn Each Event?

The scale is based on the number of participants. The number will decrease to the last player in the field who will always receive 11 points. Bonus points can be earned for finishing in the top 10 in the Clickit18 event.

10th Place: 5 pts. + number of field	20th Place: number of field - 9

Clickit18 Liability Release

Clickitgolf.com provides its members access to Clickit18 events. By registering for any Clickit18 Event, you agree to hold harmless, Clickitgolf.com and any of its sponsors or affiliates from any claims or damages in connection with the Clickit18 event. There are certain dangers involved in participating in any event. Those dangers are, including but not limited to, getting hit by a golf club or ball, being struck by lightning, falling on a hill or slope, suffering from heat exhaustion or any other type of medical emergency. Clickitgolf.com is not responsible for any items lost or damaged during an event. Clickit18 participants are responsible for any damage caused to the golf course and/or property of the golf course by their actions or participation in a Clickit18 event.

Cancellation Policy

Clickit18 events will be played, regardless of weather, unless the Golf Course is closed. If an event is cancelled, Clickit18 will re-schedule the event, or if the event can not be re-scheduled, the entry fee will be applied towards another Clickit18 event on the schedule. If you register for an event and cannot participate, a 48 hour notice is required, and your entry fee will be applied towards another Clickit18 event on the schedule. NO REFUNDS or RAINCHECKS.
