The original nine holes of the Wil~Mar Golf Course in Raleigh, NC, opened in 1961 when landowners William (Bill) and Mary Allen utilized the family farmland to venture into the golf business. In 1977, Mrs. Allen and her children expanded the course to an 18-hole layout. Still owned and operated by the Allen children, Wil~Mar's staff is genuinely delighted to offer a full-service golf facility to its customers.
Recent renovations to the greens make Wil~Mar a great choice for individual and family play, corporate, or group events. Located only four miles from Raleigh's city limits, Wil~Mar's spacious front nine and tree-lined back nine offer a challenge to all levels of golfers.
