Country Club of Whispering Pines Located just minutes from Pinehurst in the Sandhills of North Carolina, the Country Club of Whispering Pines is the home of two outstanding 18-hole Ellis Maples designed golf courses that are surrounded by the peaceful and serene Village of Whispering Pines.The Country Club of Whispering Pines is a member-owned equity club that offers privacy to its members yet accessibility to the public.
Whispering Pines Villas are just a wedge shot from the clubhouse and the first tees. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each has its own deck that offers views of the pool, Thagards Lake or the golf courses.
A new clubhouse opened in February of 1998 to rave reviews. It houses a Dining/Banquet area that can accommodate up to 300 people. An informal Bar and Grill lends itself to relaxed comfort before or after golf for both members and guests. A modern Golf Shop, driving range, putting greens, and a practice green with sand bunkers round out the amenities offered at CCWP.
