Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club is an upscale, daily fee course that holds the distinction of being Virginia's only Gary Player Signature Design. The course layout rambles through Raspberry Plain, established in the 18th century as one of the most productive and hospitable plantations in all of VA.
'This site was made for a golf course,' says Player, one of only five golfers in history to win all four major golf championships. The plantations natural features, rolling terrain, native hardwoods, meandering streams, natural rock outcroppings and spectacular vistas were all incorporated into the 18-hole layout. The most dramatic and formidable feature at Raspberry Falls is the Scottish style stacked-sod bunkers. Inspired by the great links courses of the British Isles, they give Raspberry Falls a very distinctive look.
