The course is pristine and peaceful, with fours tee boxes on each hole, allowing you to choose the degree of difficulty to match your game. The mature, plush fairways are not to tight, but neither are they very forgiving. The super fast bentgrass greens are all large and well bunkered. Cobbs Glen facilities also include a driving range, putting green, a full service pro shop, and a restaurant serving sandwiches, soup, and your favorite beverage. Club House facilities also include members lounge and men’s and women’s locker rooms. Cobbs Glen Country Club is located just 2 hours from Atlanta, Ga and Charlotte, N.C. in Anderson, South Carolina.COBBS GLEN BECOMES AREAS FIRST BEGINNER FRIENDLY, FAMILY FRIENDLY GOLF COURSE.
Many of you may have noticed the new 'short course' markers in the fairways and the markings on the cart paths. These were purchased by Cobbs Glen and installed by the SCGA. It is essentially two new sets of tee markers for either younger golfers or beginners. This should make it more fun to bring out the families and not have to make the new golfers play such a long course. The new markers also have their own ratings as well.
